THE SECRET TO WARM FUZZIES FROM CLIENTS. AND MORE COMMENTS.

If you’ve ever scratched your head and thought, ‘why in the hell don’t MORE people comment on my blog?’ or ‘how do I get people who always comment on my blog to keep commenting?’ — I’ve got your answer.

Those of you who blog on the WordPress platform (and you should be blogging with WordPress, peeps) need the Thank Me Later WordPress plug-in.  Once you’ve installed the plug-in, just configure a message that is sent to those who comment on your blog.  You can decide on how many messages they receive, whether those messages include a promo code or special offer, and how soon the message is sent after they’ve commented.

Thank you e-mails generate warm fuzzies, repeat clients, and repeat COMMENTERS.  It’s easy with Thank Me Later.  Boom!  There ya go.

New to WordPress plug-ins?  Google that bad boy, as explaining plug-ins is no easy task.

If you’re feeling brave, a basic tutorial follows.

Login to your WordPress blog and click on ‘Plugins.’

At the top of the page, click on ‘Add new.’

Under ‘Search for plugins by keyword, author, or tag’ — enter ‘Thank Me Later.’

Click ‘Search Plugins.’

Click ‘Install Now’ and let your blog do its magic.

To configure your new plugin, scroll down in your WordPress dashboard to the ‘Thank Me Later’ bit under ‘Settings.’

Configure to taste, and let your clients be amazed by how thoughtful you are! ;)

Oh, and be sure to leave a comment to see Thank Me Later in action.  My secret message will hit your inbox 26 hours from the time you hit ‘Submit comment.’

I like it! Thanks. I’ve been emailing them individually but that takes a while to take care of and my list of to dos is ever increasing exponentially.

I’ve been trying to find that other tip you gave a while back about a mailing list sign up plug in. No luck so far. If you know what I’m talking about, I’d love a pointer. Thanks!

Thanks for all your great info. It can be overwhelming with everything to know before starting a business and your articles are a great help.

That's What She Said!
